Business is local, recovery begins in our own neighborhoods and towns. What should be clear is that large corporations are not going to lead so called main street out of the coming epoch. Inventorys of goods along with in place talent pools exist within a fifty mile radius of almost every American town or city. Deflation must run the course with the in place stock of materials both produced and raw. The use and consumption of imported foreign materials must be sharply reduced for seven years. Any American company that benefits in any fashion from a government bailout be it dollars or tax breaks should be required to stop sending any form of labor either manufacturing or service offshore. These action are not intended to promote xenophobia, instead these suggested steps would foster a measured approach to stabilizing our balance of trade and put us in a stonger postion with our foreign creditors.
